The Guangdong Disabled Persons Rehabilitation Base Project is located in Huijiang Village, Dashi Town, Panyu District, Guangzhou City, on the west side of National Highway 105. The land is adjacent to Shibei Industrial Road and there is a planned subway station, making transportation convenient. The beautiful terraced fields are actually terraced farmland developed in sections along the contour lines of mountain slopes due to the limitations of the natural geographical environment, reflecting the superb labor wisdom and tenacious spirit of the people in mountainous areas in difficult environments. The theme of this plan is to encourage rehabilitation patients to maintain a positive attitude, relying on national support and social attention, and through their own tenacity and perseverance, to strive for treatment, rehabilitation, and reintegration into society. After completion, the rehabilitation base is willing to become a green hope field in the lives of rehabilitation patients, harvesting fruitful fruits in the step-by-step steps of life. The architectural design adopts horizontal continuous horizontal lines, echoing the "hopeful terraced field" form in the concept of individual buildings. Through the winding and falling horizontal strip form of terraced fields, a green rehabilitation platform is formed, providing a good rehabilitation environment and rest platform for rehabilitation patients; At the same time, the floating platform can serve as an effective horizontal shading measure, providing space for the placement of air conditioning units. The design of terraced fields provides an excellent stage for showcasing the combination of ecology and energy conservation in this case. The main materials of the building are white metal perforated panels and gray transparent glass, reflecting the clean and modern spirit of the rehabilitation hospital. Within a range close to human scale, it also has good visibility and ventilation effects.
